Independence Day - July 4, 2009

The most hypocritical holiday we have. Halloween is more serious. In order to have independence you need financial freedom so you can do what you want with your life, what YOU desire. It's one thing when you are taxed on cigarettes, liquor or things we can do without however its another thing when we are heavily taxed on necessities such as gas, electric and especially your own paycheck. The more you make the more they take. Instead, your money is being taken to support someone who possibly doesn't want to work.

Your independence is being taken away.

Does our government think that independence is the freedom to sit in your home without being disturbed and watching what we want on TV, the net or radio? We can only hope that the government doesn't take that away.

Is that all we have left?
